Job Description




As a SOC / Patrol Dispatch Operator in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic commercial real estate location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help respond to alarms and other security-related needs while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and other communication systems to receive reports, prioritize calls for service, and dispatch security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems, helping to support timely communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel, property management, and/or first responders during incidents, building access issues, and other critical situations at the location.
  • Support regular and random security-related patrol activity by maintaining communication with field personnel, tracking status updates, and relaying important information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
