A Brief Overview Three consistent nights. One unique nursing opportunity. Looking for a nursing opportunity with a consistent three-night schedule and plenty of variety? Work Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on our Flex Unit. This dynamic overflow unit responds to changing patient volumes and hospital needs, with curtained patient spaces and half walls rather than traditional private rooms. From opening the unit and admitting patients to supporting transfers as the unit prepares to close, each shift brings something different. This is an ideal setting for nurses who are adaptable, collaborative, and energized by a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
