| Job Description |
Joyner Library Engagement and Outreach team is hiring for Fall 2026! Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, professional environment and work closely with other campus partners. This position is perfect for students who are organized, dependable, and enjoy both event planning and campus engagement. You will develop valuable administrative, communication, and event planning skills while contributing to a welcoming campus space!
Key Responsibilities: Perform office tasks such as filing, copying, typing, and occasional errands Assist with spreadsheets, records, mailing, and maintaining promotional inventory Support event preparation and coordination for library programs Regularly work events in the library and other tabling events Contribute to the monthly "Stall Seat" and other assigned special projects Interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and donors ,Complete projects within assigned deadlines Contribute to our social media presence by working closely with our Communications Specialist Participate in occasional evening or weekend events as needed
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hospitality, communication, or office environments Strong attention to detail, reliability, and critical thinking skills Comfortable talking to groups of students and professionals Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar tools Available to work summer 2027 |
