| Job Description |
ECU Libraries Teaching Resources Center (
TRC) is currently seeking student assistants to work in our newly renovated department! The Teaching Resources Center contains children and young adult materials, K-12 North Carolina state adopted textbooks, guided readers, and teaching aids. The department primarily serves students enrolled in teacher education programs and educators in eastern North Carolina.
Various hours are available, including mid-morning to early evening, and weekend rotations. During the fall and spring semesters, the Teaching Resources Center is open Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm, Friday from 10am-5pm, Saturdays/Sundays from 1pm-5pm, with all shifts occurring during these hours.
Student assistants will:
* Assist customers at the Service Desk
* Assist customers with use of various equipment in the Production Center
* Shelve, shift, and straighten books and other curriculum materials
* Read the curriculum shelves to maintain correct call number order
* Work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace
* Search the online catalog for books and other materials
* Perform other duties as assigned |
