About This Position ChristianaCare is searching for a Program Coordinator II to assist the Nursing Education and Development team managing the day-to-day operations of administrative functions within the department. Work will include the facilitation of the clinical education onboarding experience for nursing students (graduate & undergraduates) related to access and scheduling. PLEASE NOTE: This is a Part Time position budgeted for 20 hours per week. Although the hours are flexible, the schedule would be four days in the office, working fine hours per day. Please only apply if this schedule works for you. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate onboarding and scheduling for nursing students.
- Manage student onboarding software, including adding/updating opportunities, approving changes, and handling ad hoc school requests.
- Track and maintain clinical agency contact lists, monitor student accounts from initial contact to termination, and ensure adherence to affiliating agreements.
- Facilitate faculty orientation and onboarding, and plan technological needs for clinical placements, observer ships, and other experiential learning opportunities.
- Provide customer support between ChristianaCare (CC) and Clinician Nexus.
- Collaborates with academic partners for preparation and distribution of all student onboarding information.
- Manage communication between school coordinators, hospital staff, students, faculty, preceptors, and other stakeholders.
- Support student account management and maintain timely follow-ups on access issues, placement requests, and other concerns, escalating to the NPD Manager as needed.
- Prepare and distribute student onboarding information to academic partners.
- Provides technical Support to CC staff and affiliating students and faculty, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Create and generate reports, including final student rosters, infection prevention quarterly reports, annual clinical rotation reports, community benefit reporting hours, clinical fee reports, and post-experience evaluations.
- Research, prepare, and assemble required forms and documentation for clinical rotation coordination fees.
- Facilitate communications, scheduling of adjunct faculty meetings, and orientation/training events.
- Coordinate all instructional training of internal staff on student onboarding software and other processes.
- Acts as delegate for Manager of Nursing Professional Development for Avatier, Learning Space, Workday, and others
- Perform account audits, aligning with CC for information security and other regulatory policies.
- Reports to the appropriate personnel, in a timely fashion, any unsafe activities, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury.
- Collaborates with interprofessional teams, leaders, stakeholders, and others to facilitate excellence and positive outcomes.
- Utilizes adult learning principles and instructional design standards to develop and implement quality curriculum, focused on achievement of excellent outcomes.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Performs assigned tasks that need to be completed even when outside the scope of routine responsibilities; adaptable to changing departmental conditions; team worker.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school equivalent, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two to three years of progressively responsible administrative duties. Preferred experience with program management and nursing education.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Hourly Pay Range: $23.85 - $35.78
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
