The University of Missouri-St. Louis offers a unique opportunity to lead a championship-caliber baseball program at one of the Midwest's leading public research universities. Located in the heart of the St. Louis metropolitan area, UMSL combines academic excellence, institutional support, and access to one of the nation's strongest baseball regions. Triton Baseball enters an exciting new chapter following its 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship and return to NCAA postseason competition. The successful candidate will inherit a program with championship momentum, an established culture of success, and a strong foundation for sustained regional and national competitiveness. As a member of the highly respected Great Lakes Valley Conference, UMSL Athletics is experiencing one of the most successful periods in its history, with multiple conference championships and a department-wide commitment to competitive excellence, student-athlete development, and operational support. The next Head Baseball Coach will join a collaborative athletics department that values innovation, integrity, and a shared pursuit of championships. UMSL's location provides a significant recruiting advantage. Situated in one of the Midwest's premier baseball markets, the University offers access to a deep pool of talent throughout the St. Louis metropolitan region, Missouri, Illinois, and surrounding states. The area's rich baseball tradition, extensive youth and amateur baseball networks, and strong high school and junior college programs create exceptional opportunities for recruiting and program growth. The baseball program competes at the UMSL Baseball Field, a dedicated collegiate facility that provides a quality game-day and training environment for student-athletes.
