Position Summary

The Supply Chain SAP Manager will lead the supply chain portion of the SAP ERP implementation and the development of standard processes for the supply chain functional pillars. This role will also be responsible for the planning and development of a strategy to replace or enhance existing NA supply chain systems. This role will work with Industrial Groups to harmonize the supply chain processes while ensuring continuing compliance with local government requirements.

Direct Reports: Supply Chain Change Process Team

Directly supervises the team working on the supply chain change processes and strategies for system implementation. Directs team working with internal and external I/T and consulting functions supporting the supply chain system strategy. Provides guidance on the change of supply chain systems, tools, and business processes to the supply chain leadership team. Participates on Corporate Steering Committee for the SAP Implementation. Works closely with the Director of Transportation, Director of Corporate Compliance, Corporate Supply Chain Manager and PSC Warehouse Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Direct the supply chain team in assessment and redesign of local and back-office processes such as demand planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing and warehousing in cooperation with the corporate IT function.
  • Responsible for SAP supply chain transactions modules and the Corporate Supply Chain platform strategy in cooperation with the SAP ERP strategy. This includes working with parallel systems throughout the project.
  • Responsible for the performance management of the supply chain change team.
  • Supervise the Corporate SAP supply chain team and support Group Supply Chain leaders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present and explain technical information to various audiences.
  • The Manager will influence peers and Executives across organizational lines to take action on any global strategic initiatives or process changes in support of implementation efficiencies.
  • Analyze, plan, and design with senior corporate management the strategic systems and processes necessary to achieve Parker Win strategy objectives, global dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Direct the building of supply chain processes, reporting, analytics, and systems in the Parker supply chain organization.
  • Responsible for facilitation of appropriate global, regional and or country meetings. Responsible for developing and publishing a supply chain transformation communications letter on at least a quarterly basis.
  • Accountable for active engagement, communication and dialogue with all regional supply chain managers and key leaders, so that they can pro-actively respond to changing business requirements and environments, managing the change projects to successful completion in this environment on time and budget.
  • Responsible for identification of additional improvement opportunities in supply chain, and work towards the development, presentation and successful adoption for funding of the business case for these projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four-year Bachelor's degree (Business or Supply Chain).
  • 7 - 10 or more years' experience within operations / supply chain disciplines.
  • SAP ERP knowledge and/or implementation experience a plus.
  • Experience working Internationally with other supply chain systems and operating structures.
  • Supply Chain best practices or Lean and supply chain re-engineering experience.
  • Strong managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
