WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Examiner Investigator to serve our community with compassion, expertise, and integrity. This part-time, per diem role is ideal for an individual with a flexible schedule and with a strong interest in forensic pathology, investigations, and public service. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact-one case at a time-at $90 per case, we want to hear from you! Must be able to respond to incident scenes within 45 to 60 minutes within the Jefferson County area. This position also requires flexibility to work rotating weekday, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. WHAT YOU WILL DO Conduct medicolegal investigations of deaths that come under the jurisdiction of the Jefferson County Medical Examiner's Office In accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes and provide office assistance to the Medical Examiner.
