Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer Lead

Location(s): Miami, FL

Experience Required

  • 8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise production Kubernetes environments
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, highly available platforms
  • Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) background

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage enterprise Kubernetes platforms
  • Administer EKS Anywhere throughout the complete cluster lifecycle
  • Implement GitOps using ArgoCD and Helm
  • Build platform automation and self-service capabilities
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing
  • Manage Kubernetes security, secrets, and policy enforcement
  • Support AWS cloud infrastructure modernization
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence
  • Develop AI-assisted operational automation tools

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, EKS Anywhere, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, HashiCorp Vault, and enterprise platform automation. Experience with Rafay and Harness is highly desirable, along with strong knowledge of GitOps, observability, Linux administration, and cloud-native engineering. Candidates who have built internal developer platforms, automated Kubernetes operations, and managed large-scale production clusters will be the strongest fit.
