As a Security Officer Digital Access Operations in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Use your computer or tablet skills to support badge-related processes and clear communication while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors while documenting incidents, access issues, and observations in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
