As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Tablet Patrol in Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology office by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents through required reporting channels.
• Maintain a visible professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
