What this job involves:

As an Assistant General Manager at JLL, you will step into a dynamic, high-impact role managing one of Miami's most prestigious Class A office towers-a architectural landmark in the heart of the city's downtown. This isn't just any property: imagine overseeing a sophisticated workspace where cutting-edge amenities, white-glove tenant services, and an unrivaled location converge to create an exceptional environment for the city's most influential companies.

You'll be an essential leader on the Property Management Team and trusted to step in seamlessly stepping when the GM is not available. You will build lasting relationships with an elite tenant community that expects-and deserves-nothing less than excellence. Working alongside trusted vendor partners and expert engineering teams, you'll master the art of operational precision while developing sharp financial acumen through hands-on reporting and analysis.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Assist with tenant communications and service requests, ensuring prompt response times and effective resolution of issues

  • Support financial management activities including invoice processing, budget tracking, and preparation of monthly operating reports

  • Coordinate maintenance work orders with engineering teams and external contractors to maintain high property standards

  • Conduct regular property walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards

  • Assist with lease administration tasks including document preparation, tenant move-in coordination, and file management

  • Help facilitate tenant events and building communications to enhance community engagement and satisfaction.

  • All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Communications, or related field

  • 3-5 years of commercial property management experience with demonstrated success in tenant relations

  • Experience in budgeting, invoicing and financial reporting

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically and effectively

  • Strong communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • LEED or AP accreditation

  • Familiarity with property management software systems such as Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms
