Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technical Project Manager to join our team at Suffolk, VA.

What you'll do:

    Lead program planning, execution, schedule, and cost control across program lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, partnering closely to define requirements, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Lead and manage multiple small to mid-sized technical projects across custom sensor integration development and high tempo operational environments.
  • Manage cross-functional teams; ensure contract and technical performance.
  • Develop risk management plans, mitigation strategies, and status reporting to leadership.
  • Lead program reviews, contract deliverables, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Engage and coordinate with AFCENT stakeholders and leadership as required.
  • Manage surge requirements and coordinate with functional leads to sustain mission readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with DoW acquisition/regulatory requirements and security protocols.
  • Mentor program staff and drive continuous process improvement.


Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Clearance: Secret (active).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects in a fast-paced environment
  • USAF/AFCENT Experience: Minimum 10 years working with USAF/AFCENT (technical/operational/programmatic)
  • Skills: Project planning & control, strong understanding of radar fundamentals to include RF propagation, message protocols/formats, sensor fusion & tracking technologies, stakeholder engagement, contract management and strong briefing/written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence customer priorities and drive adoption of technical solutions.

Other: Desired / Preferred

  • Experience with Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments.
  • Prior experience managing classified projects and cleared personnel.
  • Previous USAFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR) experience.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
