Description:



  • This position requires maintenance activities including:

    • Must occasionally assist with basic mechanical tasks, and other maintenance repairs and methods.
    • The applicant shall be able to take directions from supervision and be self-driven to work to assist in reaching goals as defined in our PM Program.
    • Install, assemble, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.
    • Lay out, position, align, and fit, components according to project requirements.
    • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, corrosion, and structural integrity.
    • Perform maintenance and repairs during planned outages and turnarounds.
    • Operate cutting, grinding, rigging, and lifting equipment safely.
    • Conduct hydrostatic and pressure testing on completed work.
    • Follow all company, site, and regulatory safety procedures.
    • Document maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
    • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations personnel to complete projects efficiently.




Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 years hands on craft experience
  • A good technical working knowledge of pressure vessels, boilers, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Exhibits mechanical aptitude
  • The ability to input data into computer software.
  • Must be proficient in repairing equipment to OEM tolerances.
  • Complete detailed forms
  • Troubleshoot and assist in determining root cause.
  • Must have skills to communicate repair to supervisor and to follow up with documentation as necessary.
  • Must possess skills in cutting, fitting, and fabrication techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, or ability to learn
  • Must be willing and able to participate in weekly call-out rotation
  • Other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications:



  • NCCER Boilermaker certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial, chemical, refinery, paper mill, power generation, or manufacturing environments
