Position Summary

TheExpertCompute,OperatingSystems(OS), and HardwareProduct Owner will guidecross-functional Agile teamsin delivering secure, scalable, and business-alignedOS, securityhardening,and configuration managementsolutions.This role will translate product strategy intoclearrequirements,create product roadmaps, manage KPIs,leadsasset managementplanforCompute, OS, computeand configuration managementproducts,manage and prioritize the product backlog, support delivery planning, and partner closely withbusiness, engineering, operations, cyber,and product stakeholders to maximize value across enterprise technology initiatives.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA once per week, or more, based on business needs or company requirements.

JobResponsibilities

  • Lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner, ensuring alignment among business priorities, product strategy, and delivery execution.

  • Identifiesthe developmental needsof resourcesand coaches andmentorsresourcesto improve their knowledge or skills.

  • Analyzes workplansand schedules to reallocate resources or reprioritize program work.

  • Provide vision and direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

  • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog of prioritized work for the delivery team.

  • Owncomplex and majorrelease planning and set clear expectations for delivery of new functionality.

  • Understand business pain points, desired outcomes, and value drivers to clearly articulate product value.

  • Communicate effectively with executive, business, functional, and technical stakeholders.

  • Serve as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams to support shared understanding, vendor strategies, and evaluations.

  • OwnBPD planning and support alignment between planning activities and delivery outcomes.

  • Drive and develop implementation plans andestablishteams to introduce newhardware,OS and Configuration Managementtechnologies and capabilities.

  • Own and evaluate emerginghardware,OS and ConfigurationManagementproducts andtechnologies.

  • Own and develop strategies to reduceOStechnical debt and communicate product release and end-of-service-life updates to team members.

  • Leadasset management plan forOSinventory.

  • Develop and maintainOS and Configuration Managementproduct roadmaps that align technology capabilities with business priorities.

  • Partner with stakeholders to manage contracts and licenses.

  • Own, define, measure, track, and report KPIs fortheOSplatforms.

  • Driveprocess improvements throughleanmethodologyof problem solving.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High school diploma, GED,orequivalent experience.

  • Fiveyears of job-related experience as a Product Owner.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent experience.

  • Five years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.

  • Product Owner, Scrum Master, or other Agilecertification.

  • AWSCertifiedCloudPractitioner,MicrosoftCertified:AzureFundamentals,or equivalentcloud platformcertification.

  • Knowledge of Agile software development principles, values, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques relevant to the role.

  • Ability to influencestakeholdersand lead behavioral change.

  • Ability to applyknowledge of the business and marketplace to advanceorganizationalgoals.

  • Willingness tocontributebeyond defined roleresponsibilities.

  • Experience with BPD planning or related business planning processes.

  • Experience withLinux, AIX,Windows,AWS, Azure, Azure Local,Tanium,VMware, Hyper-V,Ansible,CIS benchmarks.

Compensation

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and midpoint listed below. Thefinal decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Min: $132,000.00

Bay Area Mid: $179,000.00

Bay Area Max: $226,000.00
