Laboratory Equipment Manager

Element Concord has a current opening for an Laboratory Equipment Manager to join our growing team. The position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, calibration, qualification and operation of laboratory equipment, utilities, and facility systems to ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, quality and business requirements. This role manages preventive maintenance programs, equipment lifecycle activities, facility infrastructure, and vendor services while ensuring systems remain reliable, compliant and inspection ready.

$90k-$110k DOE

Ensure compliance with safety, GMP and company requirements.
• Manage facility systems including HVAC, purified water, clean rooms and laboratory equipment.
• Oversee equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, repair, qualification activities and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers, and calibration and validation vendors.
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and audit activities related to facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 17025 requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Lead facility and equipment improvement projects to enhance reliability, compliance and operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in facilities, maintenance, engineering, or equipment management within a regulated environment.
• Preferably 2+ years' experience supporting GMP laboratory operations.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations, equipment qualification, calibration, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience working with laboratory equipment, cleanrooms and utility systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in laboratory and controlled cleanroom environments as required
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between laboratory, cleanroom, and office areas as business needs require
