Department 10260 Brain Tumor InstitutePay Range $24.80 - $41.34The Neurostimulation Technician provides assistance for clinical and research tasks under the direction of principal investigators in the Neurosciences and Behavioral Medicine Center of Excellence. The technician performs clinical and experimental procedures for the purpose of clinical care and research as directed, primarily including neuromodulation, neurostimulation, and electrophysiology. The technician performs data entry for clinical and research procedures. The technician assists various teams with research studies by assisting with data entry, monitoring the quality of data in registries and databases, and assisting with administrative and coordination tasks associated with research projects. The Neurostimulation Technician may also assist in maintaining regulatory documents per sponsor and institutional requirements. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, such as neuroscience, psychology, or nursing, from a regionally accredited college or university. (Required) Minimum Work Experience At least 1-2 years of related experience desired (Preferred) The Neurostimulation Technician will be trained and validated by the device manufacturer. No supervisory experience required. Required Certifications Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (Required upon hire) Required Skills/Knowledge Familiarity and training with assessment of children Functional Accountabilities
