The Pharmacy Technician I assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and are accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician I follows applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for the care and safety of the customers and patients served.

High School Diploma or equivalent Active registration in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician OR willingness to obtain registration by the first day of employment, including completion of fingerprinting and FBI background check requirements Successful completion of pharmacy department orientation PreferredPrevious pharmacy experience (1 year preferred, but not required) Skills & Abilities
