Employment Type: Contract (11 months)

Compensation: $30.00 - $32.00 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)

What You'll Do:
  • Perform commissioning, warranty support, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel-electric locomotives.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using schematics, mechanical drawings, circuit plans, and onboard diagnostic software.
  • Complete repairs, component replacements, and field modifications using hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Investigate failures, identify root causes, and document repairs, part exchanges, and modifications in warranty and commissioning systems.
  • Collaborate with customers, site leads, and colleagues to communicate technical findings, recommend solutions, and meet safety and contractual requirements.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in performing hands-on electrical or mechanical troubleshooting, repair, or maintenance.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, maintenance, repair, and FMI documents.
  • Have basic computer skills and work in Microsoft Office.
  • SAP.
  • Able to work independently and without much supervision.
  • Ability to work safely, report hazards, and recognize risks.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Be willing and open to working various shifts and days off.
