The good-faith pay range for this role is $74,400 - $108,400 per year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.


What your job will be like:
Apply instructional design expertise to create, update, and sustain engaging, effective training materials that support organizational learning. Contribute to a wide range of projects and programs by designing solutions that strengthen employee development, maintaining accurate and current content within the Learning Management System, and ensuring a smooth user experience for learners and stakeholders. Provide responsive support to internal customers by addressing training inquiries, clarifying learning resources, and recommending appropriate solutions. Partner closely with HR colleagues and Learning & Development stakeholders to advance enterprise learning initiatives, improve training processes, and deliver highquality educational experiences aligned with organizational needs.
In this job you will:
  • Utilize instructional design expertise to design and update engaging webbased learning content using Articulate, ensuring materials are instructionally sound, userfriendly, and aligned with organizational learning objectives.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to conduct needs assessments and analyzes findings to establish goals, create project plans, and establish timeline for project.
  • Create training solutions-job-aids, instructional materials, and resources following the appropriate adult learning methodology.
  • Maintain and update Learning Management System content as needed, including publishing courses, updating links, managing training credit, and generating accurate reports.
  • Provide responsive support to internal customers by addressing training inquiries, clarifying learning resources, and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Analyze course feedback, resulting in updates that are tangible improvements to course materials, delivery, and the learner experience.
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual learning programs /workshops across the lab through effective oral and visual communication.
  • Support Learning & Development team projects and programs as needed (New Employee Orientation, Supervisor Academy, etc.)
  • Maintain project documentation, course folders, files and resources used to include updating all systems and records repositories.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ad hoc project support for Human Resources.
Experience
  • Required: 5 or more years relevant experience
  • Required: Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems and maintaining training records and document control.
  • Required: Demonstrated experience developing effective and engaging online courses utilizing authoring tools such as Articulate (Storyline, RISE) . Experience using AI assisted learning tools is preferred.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience and Education Exchange
Education above the minimum may be substituted for experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge and use of adult learning methods when creating learning materials, courses, and resources across all delivery modes (eLearning, virtual and in person).
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Rise), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to edit content with a critical eye and consistent version and record control.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide rage of diverse lab community stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to exercise professionalism and tact.
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to develop accesible content aligned with ADA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and adjusted timelines.
