- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated finance experience and understanding, including financial goal setting, budget forecasting and implementation of controls to monitor progress toward financial goals
- Previous leadership experience and demonstrated achievements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to motivate a diverse workforce
- Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines
- Effective collaboration across disciplinary lines in the marketplace and within the agency at all levels
- Previous administrative experience dealing with business office issues
- Knowledge of hospice program requirements, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to travel nationwide for multi-week assignments

Responsibilities: As a Regional Director Business Operations - Hospice you will:
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the focus of business operation optimization and standardization of program sites
- Responsible for the coordination and structure of new Business Operations role orientation and training and management of Manager-Business Operations (MBO) in development of curricula and content for training
- Act as a conduit for identification of gaps in processes and visibility from our program sites to all back-office functions
- Act as an advocate and voice for Director-Business Operations (DBO) nationwide when involved in business operations projects
- Responsible for ensuring program sites are following consistent and standard business processes
- Assist in the documentation of formal business processes and protocols
- Conduct competency evaluations of DBOs to determine education gaps and opportunities
- Provide onsite support with structured business operations reviews
- Act as floating DBO for program sites with vacancies, if needed
- Act as a member of the DBO advisory and represent the DBO at National Department meetings
- Responsible for assisting CFO in blind spot monitoring of reports and thresholds - i.e. CC billing, physician backlogging, charity care, etc.
- Assist in documentation of business requirements for new systems and software when needed
- Responsible for escalation of any issues identified on Connect Calls
- Other duties as assigned
