Job Summary Opening for a full-time Department Coordinator with time shared in the Duke Team Store and the University Be You. Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Team Store and University Store to ensure retail sales floors are The management and staff at the Duke Team Store are also responsible for operating the Clothing/Gift Assist with receiving incoming merchandise transfers, verify packing slips for the accuracy of received Perform monthly cycle counts and ensure that inventory is kept in accurate quantities to meet customer needs Perform various routine clerical functions in the recording and reporting of information required for accurate and Perform inventories as scheduled; take counts of sales, reduced, damaged, and discounted merchandise; Assist customers in selecting products and recommending additional purchases; answer customer calls and Operate point-of-sale cash register as needed, processing cash and non-cash transactions. Required Qualifications at this Level Education/Training: Experience: One to three years of retail apparel sales and operational experience in a high-end, high volume retail operation. Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles to maintain proper inventory counts and to handle sales transactions, generally acquired through a high school education. Experience Work generally requires 6 months of retail store experience including cash register operation experience.
