This position is primarily remote. However, occasional on-site attendance of meetings at Health System locations between Charlottesville and Manassas, Virginia is expected. JOB TYPE Classification:Exempt Supervises Positions: JOB SUMMARY The Financial Analyst Senior' responsibilities include but are not limited to the following assistance with internal and external financial reporting, accounting and transactional research and analysis, net revenue analysis, accounts receivable reserve analysis and development, cash collections analysis, assisting with the coordination of the annual external audit, completion of financial surveys, various month-end closing duties, and participation in the annual budgeting process. QUALIFICATIONS Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Masters degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis role required. Healthcare accounting experience preferred. Licensure: CPA license or eligibility preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient in Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research skills. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Experience with interim and annual financial reporting. Experience with PeopleSoft or Workday Financials. Experience with Anaplan. Experience with database queries and reporting. Competencies:
The base compensation range for this role is $31.62 - $50.35 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
