Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician - Cary NC Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician in Cary NC! Responsibilities: Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment Terminate fire alarm panels and devices Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights) Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.) Requirements: 3+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes) Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, FireLite, etc. a plus) BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus NICET Certification is a PLUS Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina as needed Why Work with Next Level Technician in Cary NC?
