Business Central Functional Consultant

Job Description:

We're looking for a Business Central Functional Consultant with strong finance and operations expertise, someone who knows how to bridge financials with inventory, warehouse, and light manufacturing processes.

This role is ideal for a consultant who enjoys both solution delivery and client impact: configuring core finance, streamlining supply chain workflows, supporting pre-sales efforts, and bringing thought leadership to the table.
They will work closely with clients, technical teams, and sales to deliver end-to-end value.

Our team is a growing, early-stage practice. We want contributors eager to shape the direction, build client impact, and help us excel in the Business Central space.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

ERP-Focused Implementation & Solution Design

• Taking ownership of solution delivery for finance, inventory, warehouse, and light manufacturing modules within Microsoft Business Central. Design workflows, review requirements, and configure systems to optimize client operations.

• Collaborating with sales teams to participate in pre-sales discovery, craft solution proposals, and deliver engaging product demonstrations that showcase Business Central's capabilities.

• Guiding clients with best practices and thought leadership in finance and operations, align process improvements with their business goals, and provide guidance amidst industry change.

• Driving adoption through training, support, and continuous process improvement.

• Ensuring adherence to best practices in ERP solution design, performance, and security.

Internal Leadership & Mentorship

• Guiding and mentoring a small team (2-3 members) in project work and knowledge development.

• Contributing to internal accelerators, knowledge base, and improvement of delivery methodologies.

• Collaborating with enthusiasm for helping build a high-impact Business Central practice from the ground up.

• Minimum 6+ years of consulting experience in ERP platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

• Strong communicator who can confidently present solutions, lead workshops, and troubleshoot client challenges.

• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 preferred.

• Knowledge of industry-specific processes (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing).
