The Department of Kinesiology at Lipscomb University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Strength & Conditioning, beginning January 1, 2027, or August 1, 2027. This is a 10-month appointment with a 4/4 teaching load (with potential to adjunct over the summer), serving as a lead faculty member for our undergraduate concentration in Strength & Conditioning within the Fitness & Sport Studies major and as an instructor in our graduate Master of Professional Studies in Kinesiology (MPS-KIN) program. The successful candidate will be a critical addition to the department, serving as one of the two CSCS-credentialed faculty members required by the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE) accreditation (pending as of Fall 2026). Ph.D. and CSCS required (ABD considered); C-ISSN preferred. About the Opportunity This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the application of human performance within a department aggressively pursuing national distinction. This faculty member will be the primary subject-matter expert in strength & conditioning and sport performance nutrition and the director of the Human Performance Laboratory.
