Deliver Excellence.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Foreman to lead daily warehouse operations and oversee a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety, organization, and customer service.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on developing employees, improving processes, and creating a safe and productive work environment.What You'll DoWarehouse Operations & Inventory ManagementOversee all incoming shipments and ensure merchandise is accurately counted, documented, unloaded, and stored in the appropriate locations.Coordinate receiving, stocking, inventory control, load building, and distribution activities to support operational efficiency.Conduct and oversee periodic inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet operational and customer demands.Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas to maximize productivity and efficiency.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and support warehouse employees to achieve performance, safety, and service goals.Assign daily work activities and ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment.Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.Ensure team members receive proper training and certification for forklifts and other equipment, as required.Customer Service & Load BuildingReview sales invoices and coordinate the accurate assembly and loading of customer orders.Ensure materials are loaded safely, efficiently, and accurately to meet customer expectations.Support warehouse operations by performing duties alongside team members when needed.Safety & CompliancePromote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility.Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Identify, report, and address safety concerns before they become hazards.Participate in and lead safety meetings and recommend improvements to increase workplace safety.Ensure scrap materials and warehouse debris are properly recycled or disposed of in accordance with company standards.What We're Looking ForKnowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling procedures.Knowledge of product characteristics, weights, and proper loading techniques.Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize work to maximize workforce and equipment efficiency.Advanced knowledge of forklifts, warehouse equipment, and material handling machinery.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Ability to effectively communicate expectations, safety procedures, and productivity goals to employees.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Solid mathematical, counting, and estimating skills.Ability to prepare schedules, reports, and operational documentation.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 4 years of experience performing and coordinating warehouse, yard, or distribution operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, if required.Why Join Our Team?Opportunity to lead an essential operation and make a direct impact on business success.Work with a supportive team in a safety-focused environment.Career growth and advancement opportunities.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Stable and rewarding work in a fast-paced industry.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentWork is performed primarily in an outdoor yard and warehouse environment.Exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, equipment noise, and dust.Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.May be required to climb, bend, kneel, push, pull, and perform other physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
