Description Position Title: Production Foreman Reporting to: Production Manager Department: Production Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. We are looking for a Production Foreman to help support that mission. JOB SUMMARY The Production Foreman assembles custom built diesel and natural gas-powered electric generators and motorized equipment. The position is responsible for consistent and efficient workmanship in a team environment, meeting deadlines and delivering quality finished products. RESPONSIBILITIES Organize and keep technicians on task Ensure quality standards on all generator units during product assembly Oversee technician training Follow through with project specifications, serial numbers and other documentation Ensure all assembly areas are kept safe, clean, and organized Open and close manufacturing floor according to business hours Perform other tasks as needed Great Benefits Competitive Salary Boot Allowance Tool Programs available for entry level technicians Health Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance 401(k) with a company match Paid Time Off + 7 Company Paid Holidays Productive Work Environment with opportunity for internal growth Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Technical degree/certificate in Automotive, Diesel or Welding/Fabrication preferred Strong mechanical skills Good communications skills Good, safe work habits A good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions Strong diagnostic skills Ability to consistently repair and assemble components and equipment WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
