Georgia-Pacific is seeking an HR Business Partner that is ready to positively impact culture and the operation's overall talent position to achieve business results at our Hosford OSB facility in Hosford, Florida.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who wants to expand their impact and grow their career in Human Resources. Working directly with employees, supervisors, and site leadership, you will gain broad exposure to employee relations, talent acquisition, employee development, workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.

As a key member of the HR team, you will support day-to-day HR operations while developing the business acumen, leadership, and strategic capabilities needed to become a trusted HR partner. This role reports directly to the HR Manager and offers significant opportunities for growth and development within Georgia-Pacific.

With a workforce of approximately 135 non-union employees, our facility is part of Georgia-Pacific's Building Products business, a leading supplier of building materials used in residential and commercial construction. Our HR team partners closely with leaders and employees to understand the business, anticipate workforce needs, and attract, develop, motivate, and retain the right talent. This hands-on role offers broad exposure to HR and manufacturing operations while helping supervisors become more effective coaches and fostering a culture where contribution-motivated employees can grow, create value, and contribute to business success.

What You Will Do

  • Build trusted relationships with our Team's employees, supervisors, and leaders.
  • Provide practical HR guidance and support related to employee relations, policies, attendance, and workplace concerns.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist leaders with performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
  • Serve as the site owner and subject matter expert for timekeeping and attendance processes.
  • Support benefits administration, employee inquiries, and annual enrollment activities.
  • Maintain HR systems, records, reporting, and payroll-related auditing processes.
  • Analyze workforce data and provide insights that support business decisions.
  • Participate in investigations, corrective action processes, and compliance activities.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen culture and support the application of Principle Based Management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience supporting Human Resources, employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, or other related business functions.
  • Experience using business systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, or operations environment.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, or talent development initiatives.
  • Experience administering time and attendance, payroll, or HR information systems.
  • Experience partnering directly with supervisors and business leaders.
  • Experience analyzing workforce data and using insights to drive decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification.
  • Demonstrated interest in growing into broader HR business partner or HR leadership responsibilities.
