Work Model: This role can be performed remotely from an approved location, with flexibility based on business needs and applicable requirements. ____________________ Kollmorgen, a Regal Rexnord brand and leader in precision motion control solutions, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and managing distributor relationships across a territory that includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and surrounding markets. This is an ideal opportunity for a sales professional with experience in industrial automation, motion control, robotics, controls, or other technical industrial products who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and owning territory growth. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth through new business development and expansion of existing accounts. Build relationships with OEMs, machine builders, distributors, integrators, and end users. Identify and influence new design opportunities for motors, drives, controllers, and automation solutions. Partner with distributors and internal engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans. Maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, CRM management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer applications and recommending value-driven solutions. Represent Kollmorgen at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Travel up to 50% throughout the territory. Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, motion control, robotics, controls, electromechanical products, or related technologies. Experience working with OEMs, machine builders, manufacturers, or industrial distributors. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and business audiences. Proven ability to develop new business and grow a sales territory. Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms. Compensation $110,000 - $130,000+ This position is also eligible for a sales incentive plan, with target total compensation of approximately $160,000 - $180,000+, and additional earning potential for top performers. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
