Orano Med

Orano Med has developed new processes for producing high-purity lead-212, a rare radioactive isotope. Lead-212 is currently at the heart of promising research projects in nuclear medicine to develop new treatments against cancer. The innovative approach, known as targeted alpha therapy (TAT), recognizes and destroys cancer cells while limiting the impact on nearby healthy cells.

The Administrative Specialist supports the daily operations of the facility and serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, employees, and incoming communications. This role provides administrative support to leadership, maintains a professional and welcoming front-office environment, coordinates office operations, and manages office inventory and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception and Front Desk Operations

  • Provide coverage for the reception desk and front entrance.
  • Greet all visitors promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Verify visitor information and notify the appropriate personnel of their arrival.
  • Monitor visitor activity and escalate safety or security concerns as needed.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding visitors, deliveries, and front desk activities.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and lobby area.
  • Provide backup support for the Receiving department as needed.

Pest Control Coordination

  • Conduct weekly pest control inspections and document pest activity.
  • Escort the pest control service provider during scheduled monthly inspections and maintain accurate records of findings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and the pest control vendor to address and resolve pest-related issues.

Administrative and Office Operations

  • Manage office supply inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Maintain breakroom and copy room supplies and ensure these areas remain clean and organized.
  • Coordinate office vendors and service providers.
  • Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Prepare company announcements, newsletters, and other internal communications.
  • Create, monitor, and manage office-related service requests and work orders.
  • Perform light, routine upkeep of shared office spaces to maintain a professional work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other office operations initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.





Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of directly applicable experience
