We're looking for Cost Analysts, Projects to join our Day & Zimmermann Projects teams on advanced class greenfield construction projects in the US


A DZMC Cost Analyst I is an entry-level project controls role responsible for performing basic cost, labor, quantity, and earned value data entry and reporting activities under close supervision. This position supports project teams while developing foundational knowledge of project controls systems, processes, and reporting.

* Basic understanding of project controls, cost, and earned value terminology

* Working knowledge of spreadsheet software and reporting tools

* Ability to follow established processes and procedures with guidance

* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

* Effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate to an entry-level role

What You Will Be Doing:

* Cost Data Entry & Validation: Perform basic labor, cost, quantity, and earned value data entry with direction from others and verify data accuracy prior to submission.

* Reporting & Documentation Support: Assemble assigned internal and external reports and contract documentation and run standard reports under supervision.

* Code of Accounts & Cost Tracking Support: Open and close codes of accounts and enter costs into proper categories using approved costing software with guidance.

* Earned Value & Progress Support: Assist project leads and superintendents with progress entry and basic earned value reporting under direction.

* Change Management & Forecasting Support: Support change order documentation, data entry, and forecasting data collection with supervision.

* Systems & Process Learning: Learn project controls systems, interfaces, and procedures and support financial system interfaces as assigned.

What You Need To Bring To The Table:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, accounting, or related field (or in progress) Required

* 0-3 years of relevant experience, 4 years if no degree

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $83,000 - $100,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
