MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS




  • High school Diploma or GED


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES



  • Basic proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Familiarity with Trimble & Quote Soft estimating software (or demonstrated ability to learn quickly)
  • Basic understanding of NC Mechanical & Plumbing Codes and industry standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire to learn and advance into a senior project management role


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support the Project Manager (PM) in direct oversight and coordination with the overall management and execution of safety, quality, and efficiency requirements for assigned Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Division projects.
  • Assist as directed with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracts as needed to conform to project specifications.
  • Conduct regular scheduled quality control walk downs and safety audits of assigned projects.
  • Regularly coordinate with Project Manager to forecast project costs and manpower for assigned projects.
  • Attend and participate in weekly SE&M Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Division manpower meetings to discuss, forecast, and manage department manpower needs for upcoming weeks.
  • Manage as directed, all submittals, RFI's, drawings, correspondence, and change orders for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and track all rental equipment on assigned jobsite.
  • Maintain all project records to ensure relevant information is documented and secured.
  • Develop positive business relationships while ensuring contractual compliance with all parties.
  • Help project managers resolve client concerns.
  • Provide leadership and support to field teams.
  • Attend job-site weekly meetings for assigned projects.
  • Monitor and enforce current regulatory standards and company safety guidelines.
  • Help develop and maintain working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Work as a team with other departments and company divisions.
