Position Summary:

CAS is currently seeking a Facilities Operations Intern for Summer 2027. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

The Internship will run from May 17th, 2027, to August 6th, 2027.

Our Summer Intern Program aims to foster a high level of engagement and learning for participants through in-depth immersion into our working environment with all teams within the Facilities Operations Division. Participants will benefit from exposure to a variety of facility operations workflows including infrastructure and space project management, vendor management, building and grounds operations, and office operations and logistics. They will also have the opportunity to expand their professional network with CAS staff and fellow interns. These connections offer valuable insights into potential career opportunities.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Engage on a rotating basis with each area of the Division including Project Management, Telecom/AV, Building and Grounds Maintenance, Office Operations, and Campus Events.
  • Support daily tasks assigned in each area and engage with daily workflows of the teams being shadowed.


  • Share feedback and preferred Building Operations interests to guide and maximize engagement with the teams that align with those interests and learning opportunities.


  • Connect across the organization through the Summer Intern Program to build influential working relationships, preparing your career for tomorrow.



Qualifications:



  • Pursuing a degree or certificate in Facility Maintenance/Operations, Project Management that emphasizes building infrastructure, or AV/Telecommunications.
  • Some experience in any of the following areas is preferred: building maintenance, telecommunications, infrastructure project management, or office operations such as logistics or shipping/receiving.
  • Facilities Operations is a fast-paced team that is highly hands-on at all levels. This role requires flexibility and ready collaboration across the various teams.
  • This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to execute within an evolving workflow.
  • This role is not eligible for a hybrid schedule and is onsite M-F.
