As a Security Officer Custody Officer in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government law enforcement location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access; and document visitor activity, incidents, and daily observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, reporting suspicious activity, and supporting security-related operations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
