As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access and alarm activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous service to residents and guests. Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
