As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Retail in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. 21+ Years of Age
Active Armed Guard Card/License
Valid Driver's License

3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail locations, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, vendor, and delivery activity; report unusual conditions and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and response actions in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
