You will work with recruiters and managers within the QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, and Experienced Professional hiring team to ensure a strong pipeline of highly skilled, qualified and motivated technologists are available to join the firm.
You will develop and deliver high quality, full cycle, recruitment practices which embody our values and create exceptional hiring journeys for candidates and hiring teams.
You will help candidates understand the unique value proposition of joining McKinsey and provide end-to-end management of candidates in your pipeline; this includes intake conversations with hiring managers, candidate generation via application review, direct sourcing and referrals, assessment through to offer creation and cultivation.
Your ability to attract and develop pipeline of candidates through compelling messaging with keen understanding of the competitive technical landscape will be vital. You will manage cultivation and integration of hires into the firm and participate in recruiting-related projects when needed (e.g. recruiting system design, reporting, assessment).
You will work closely with the recruiting team to plan, coordinate and execute all stages of the recruitment process (from interview days, to events, to cultivation) to contribute to the development of our recruiting strategy. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and a willingness to innovate and go the extra mile to deliver fully diverse hiring.

You will be a part of our QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, and Experienced Professional Recruiting function. Your team supports hiring needs across a variety of technology roles to US and Canada locations for client facing and non-client facing positions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years end to end technical recruiting experience, partnering closely with hiring managers and senior business stakeholders; experience operating effectively within large, complex organizations preferred
  • Experience leading technical recruiter screens across Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, Software Engineering and Machine Learning Engineer roles
  • Ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants and recruiting colleagues at all levels within the organization
  • Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
  • Ability to work in-person and travel as needed
  • Ability to operate office equipment and handle transportation of materials or objects, when required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels

To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in Canada and/or the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $78,400 - $113,000 in USD and $87,200 - $109,000 in CAD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
