Font Licensing & Cost Analyst

The Adobe Fonts and Type team is rapidly transforming how typography is discovered and experienced. We are passionate about the future of fonts and are looking for a Font Licensing and Cost Analyst to help us understand font usage, manage costs, and inform our library and licensing strategy. Here's what you'll do:

Adobe Fonts Cost Analysis
  • Monitor font usage in Adobe products and its impact on associated royalty costs
  • Support new product features by analyzing and developing font royalty payment models
Font Library Catalog
  • Analyze user engagement with font groups and languages to inform font catalog strategy
  • Track the inventory of Adobe Fonts compared to competitor font libraries to identify gaps and opportunities
Licensing & Enterprise Customer Support
  • Respond to inquiries on font licensing, misuse, and terms of use
  • Partner with sales teams to understand enterprise customer workflows and improve font solutions
  • Work with Adobe Care and track user feedback to address issues and anticipate trends that relate to enterprise font use
  • Maintain customer-facing documentation related to enterprise font use and font resellers
Adobe Originals & Reseller Management
  • Develop pricing strategies that accurately reflect Adobe Originals (Adobe-owned fonts) value by analyzing competitor pricing and market trends
  • Maintain relationships with Adobe Originals resellers and track font sales revenue
  • Manage enterprise customer font purchasing needs by coordinating between customers and resellers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with enterprise software licensing
  • Strong understanding of pricing and revenue models
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, finance, and support teams
  • Meticulous with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in typography, fonts or the type industry
  • Advanced Excel or data visualization skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $80,500 -- $175,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $121,300 - $175,600

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
