What You'll Do:
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases for application and embedded software.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues using bug-tracking systems.
- Partner with developers, hardware engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective testing approaches.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams to improve software quality, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes and overall software quality.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on application software and hardware systems.
- 7+ years of experience in version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (Azure DevOps).
What Sets You Apart:
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA) and practices for medical software development (IEC 62304).
- Familiar understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, and UART.
- Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for automation testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in testing safety-critical software systems(automotive, medical devices).
