We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join Procore's Financial Platform and Insights Division. In this role, you'll own and lead critical backend initiatives, evolve high-throughput distributed architectures, and elevate Procore's core engineering ecosystem. The primary goal of this role is to scale resilient financial management systems and drive AI-enhanced software solutions for our global customer base. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll partner with Product Managers, Systems Architects, and Engineering Leadership to design scalable services, manage event-driven data streams, and build seamless React user interfaces. Use your expertise in distributed systems, backend development with Java and Ruby, and AI-driven software development to deliver high-impact software that directly influences how communities around the world build schools, hospitals, and homes. Base Pay Range: 140,960.00 - 193,820.00 USD AnnualThis role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
