Security Officer - Full Time Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Response Patrol Driver in Washington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations through clear and timely reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current EMT certification.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
