Security Officer - Warehouse

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet-based tools to support badge and access control activities while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology distribution, office, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery or shipping/receiving areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
