| Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
This position's purpose is to maintain an accurate, steady work flow, often without direct supervision. Daily operations can include delivery, moving, pickup of surplus, stage events, packages or other tasks which allows the university to function without delay. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency. |
| Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience |
- Proficiency in the use of computers for data entry, record processing, and maintaining information in spreadsheets.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized filing systems.
- Experience operating and driving large delivery trucks safely and effectively.
- Customer service experience with the ability to communicate professionally and provide responsive support to customers and stakeholders.

Valid North Carolina Driver License required.
Forklift training and certification required within six months of employment. |

Warehouse Services manages the university's shipping and receiving needs, campus moving services, departmental storage and surplus property. Our mission is to support the university by providing superior customer service in those areas. |
