The Supply Operations / SSA Technical Instructor provides formal instruction and technical support for Army supply operations, Supply Support Activity (SSA) procedures, requisitioning, receiving, stockage, stock control, excess management, classes of supply, and related GCSS-Army/material-management processes.

  Teach the Supply Operations Management Course or successor supply-operations training.

  Train personnel on SSA and supply-support processes.

  Support supply-management SAVs and onsite technical assistance.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist units with stock control, requisitioning, receiving, redistribution, excess management, and related supply processes.

  
  
• 
  

  Support Government-led CSDP and supply-management inspection activities.

  
  
• 
  

  Train personnel on supply documentation, accountability, and related GCSS-Army transactions.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist users in identifying and correcting supply-process deficiencies.

  
  
• 
  

  Cross-train with Unit Supply and Property Accountability instructors to support continuity and surge requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare or contribute to briefings, trend reports, training records, and other required products.

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum three years of Army supply, SSA, stock control, material management, or directly related logistics experience.

  
  
• 
  

  Demonstrated knowledge of SSA operations, requisitioning, receiving, stock control, redistribution, excess management, and classes of supply.

  
  
• 
  

  Working knowledge of GCSS-Army supply/material-management processes appropriate to the position.

  
  
• 
  

  Working knowledge of AR 710-2 and DA Pam 710-2-2.

  
  
• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and provide hands-on technical coaching.

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

  
  

• 
  

  GCSS-Army Material Management, Unit Supply, property-accountability, or warehouse experience.

  
  
• 
  

  CSDP, SAV, COMET, or inspection-support experience.

  
  
• 
  

  Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.

  
  
• 
  

  Cross-functional maintenance or readiness experience.

  
  
• 
  

  Active Secret eligibility/clearance.

  
  

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation-access, background-investigation, CAC, and Government information-system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
