GSOC Analyst

This position is an intelligence-focused GSOC on-site in Boca Raton, FL.

**This is not a Cybersecurity position**
The GSOC Analyst will work on a team focused on global intelligence supporting various security functions. The analysts should be comfortable translating global incidents and security risks into real-time communication with client stakeholders. Analysts should have a strong understanding of current events and global affairs. Analysts should have a basic understanding of the intelligence process and analytic techniques. Analysts should have strong writing and analytical thinking skills.

Candidates should include a strong writing sample relevant to the role.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor global events (developing situations, trade shows, security incidents, disasters, armed conflict, and other crises) using open-source collection techniques and incident management platforms. Provide prompt escalation to stakeholders when needed.
• Monitor global events and assess impact to business travelers, sites, and assets.
• Disseminate information and analysis as needed, including providing research for intelligence and situational awareness briefings
• Contribute to processes and procedures to standardize and enhance risk management.
• Work closely with different security teams.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Work collaboratively with team members on research and intelligence products.

Required and Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience in a related field is strongly preferred (Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence/Security Studies)
• Have an interest or direct experience in the following: Intelligence, Critical Incident Management, Travel Risk Management, Corporate Security, Crisis Management, Geopolitical Risk.
• Must be well versed in current technologies and open-source methodologies and structured analytical techniques.
• Must be a competent used of Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other similar tools.
• Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
• Successful client management experience.
• Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressured situations.
• Ability to attend training events outside of normal work hours
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts both days and nights.
• Experience using OSINT tools such as Everbridge, Factal, Liferaft, ISOS, Crisis24 Horizon.
