Internship, IT Support Technician, Infrastructure Engineering (Winter/Spring 2027)

This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the Team

• Support core infrastructure, endpoint systems, and user-impacting issues at Tesla Centers
• Help develop internal monitoring systems and automation jobs that reduce downtime at sales, service, and delivery locations
• Provide remote and onsite support across a large multi-site environment
• Troubleshoot hardware, endpoints, and network issues; prioritize incidents and communicate across functions to keep locations operational

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Networking or a related field
• Hands-on experience in field and/or remote IT support
• Familiarity with core network infrastructure, endpoint systems, and hardware troubleshooting
• Understanding of high-throughput network infrastructure and data offloading
• Strong incident management, prioritization, and cross-functional communication skills
• Nice to have: Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, OSI networking, Meraki, Aruba, Jamf, Intune, JSM/Jira, Netcloud
