Laborer (North Vista Mobile Home Park)

LABORER

The Laborer is responsible for overall upkeep of the North Vista Mobile Home Park in Clayton, WA. This is a full-time position. The schedule is 8:00am - 4:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with some additional hours required as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties.

• Safely operate a variety of tools to perform general facility repairs and maintenance
• Perform yard maintenance including lawn mowing, weed eating, raking, and snow removal
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of grounds, including disposal of garbage and debris
• Proper handling and storage of all materials, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use
• Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties.

• Valid Driver License
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The below statements are intended to describe the physical nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.

• Perform strenuous physical labor in an outdoor environment during all seasons.
• Lifting/carrying objects 50 lbs. or more.
• Lifting from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead.
• Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting, crawling up to 8+ hours per day.
• Climbing and maintaining balance on ladders or stools reaching in all directions.
• Handling and manipulating objects and materials.
• Coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers.
• Seeing with or without correction.
