Purpose of the Job
Our client offers a suite of devices and tools that are used daily by billions and trusted by over 6 million businesses. Their retail sector is a first-party hardware business focused on growing its brands and product portfolio. In this role, you get to help drive the highest priority initiatives for our client. The client team demonstrates how their hardware innovation and AI capabilities solve the world's problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. At its core, marketing for our client starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways.
As an AI Solutions & API Integration Developer sitting within our client's Global Strategy, Insights, Analytics and Operations Group, you are tasked with accelerating marketing operations and creative production using their internal AI ecosystem and developer tooling. You apply software development, API integration, and business acumen with a dash of creative problem-solving to build scalable AI workflows across the global, regional, and local marketing teams. You are a self-starter and natural collaborator, able to partner with cross-functional client teams-including Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Global Creative, Global Production, 3P, 1P, Social Activations, Media Lab, and Strategy & Operations-to build bespoke tools, streamline asset delivery pipelines, and automate technical marketing workflows for retail hardware launches. Your mindset is global and scalable, but your approach is tactical and practical. In this role, you will partner closely with the client AI Solutions Lead to engineer automated end-to-end solutions for marketing operations.
This role is based remotely in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Build AI Workflows & Automation: Develop, deploy, and maintain custom low-code and API-driven marketing automation workflows using Workspace Studio and AI Studio (Preprod) to streamline launch deliverables across the retail hardware portfolio
Creative & Media Asset Tooling Integration: Integrate creative and asset pipelines leveraging tools such as Stitch for interactive UI/vibe prototyping, Google Flow / Flow Tools for multi-modal creative production, and Botz / Pomelli for onboarding and distributing campaign creative assets
Synthesize Strategy & Research: Deploy NotebookLM and the LLM Extension in Chrome to consolidate campaign strategy docs, synthesize marketing research, and provide instant insights across complex launch PRDs
Issue Triaging & Bug Automation: Utilize BugAI and Buganizer Help Me Fix features inside Buganizer to automate bug categorization, analyze execution logs, perform root-cause analysis, and route marketing dependencies and asset delivery blockers during active launch cycles
Codebase & Script Maintenance: Leverage Code Search Chat & Agent and Code Review Agent in Critique to maintain internal automation scripts, monitor CL velocity, and ensure compliance with technical quality guidelines
Knowledge Sharing & Operational Q&A: Utilize Moma Search AI Answers and Moma AI to build and query internal knowledge repositories, operational guidelines, and launch FAQs for cross-functional partners across US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC
Status Video & Pitch Generation: Generate automated project status walkthroughs and video presentations executive stakeholder reviews and cross-functional alignments
Access & Policy Governance: Collaborate with client team's Program Managers to navigate agencies and vendors access requests (via go/gemini-non-fte-access) to request and maintain client policy approvals for specialized developer and AI tooling
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
1-2+ years of experience in software development, API integration, or marketing technology engineering
1+ years of experience working within a complex, large technology organization
Hands-on programming experience with Python, JavaScript/Apps Script, REST APIs, or low-code automation tools (e.g., Workspace Studio)
Effective written and oral communication capabilities with peers, cross-functional partners, and management
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience developing solutions within consumer electronics marketing ecosystems, specifically mobile devices, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, or tablets
Hands-on development experience utilizing Google Gemini AI frameworks and productivity tools, including Workspace Studio, NotebookLM, Stitch, Pomelli, and BugAI
Hands-on experience building scalable API connectors, webhooks, and data pipelines connecting Google Workspace (Google Apps Script, Sheets SSOT, Docs, Slides) with project tracking systems (Smartsheet, Buganizer/TaskFlow).
Practical experience with LLM/Gemini APIs, structured JSON outputs, prompt chains, and agentic/tool-use architectures (e.g., Model Context Protocol / MCP).
Understanding of agency/vendor access governance structures and policy workflows
Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term technical execution skills; ability to understand complex workflows and distill them into simple, automated solutions
Highly motivated, determined, and organized problem-solver with rigorous attention to detail
