POSITION SUMMARY

First Coast Security Solutions provides comprehensive security solutions including armed and unarmed guarding, detection technologies, physical security systems, and other security technology services across diverse industries. We operate in 30+ states and are experiencing significant growth, building out an internal IT function to support our expanding technology footprint.

We're looking for an Application & Database Administrator to own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of WinTeam, the core workforce management platform our business runs on. Based at our Jacksonville headquarters, you'll be the go-to technical owner for WinTeam and the primary point of contact between our business departments, IT, and the software vendor.

This is a mid-level role for someone who wants to own a critical business system and grow with it. It's primarily WinTeam application administration with secondary database work... you don't need to be a senior DBA, but you should be comfortable in the underlying database, troubleshooting data issues, and writing SQL as needed. If you like being the person who owns a platform end to end and keeps it running clean, this is a role you can settle into and build on.

Responsibilities

  • Own the administration and maintenance of the WinTeam application
  • Manage users, roles, permissions, and application access.
  • Configure and maintain WinTeam settings, modules, and system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot application and user issues, and drive them to resolution.
  • Work directly with TEAM Software support when vendor assistance is needed.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, testing, and system changes.
  • Monitor application performance and catch issues before they hit users.
  • Handle database work: reporting, queries, and data troubleshooting
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and changes.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, Payroll, and other departments that live in WinTeam.
  • Support integrations and data exchanges between WinTeam and other company systems.
  • Follow IT security, access-control, change-management, and backup procedure.

Experience

  • Experience administering or supporting enterprise business applications
  • Basic to intermediate SQL and database skills, including writing queries and troubleshooting data.
  • Experience understanding of user access, permissions, and role-based security.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work directly with both business users and software vendors.
  • Someone who takes ownership and can run a system with limited oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct WinTeam / TEAM Software experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and reporting tools
  • Experience with APIs or system integrations
  • Background supporting ERP, workforce management, payroll, or financial applications

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in office settings
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • May require occasional standing, walking, and bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
